    Offensive defence systems

On the second match day, very offensive defence systems could be observed in the girls’ and the boys’tournaments. The Korea women’s youth followed the example of their women’s national team and played their usual very offensive 3-‐3 defence against Angola.

    Fast play and active defence

The first match day of the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing definitely shows a clear increase of quality regarding the technical-tactical profiles of the participating teams compared to the first Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. Especially in view of the individual repertoire of variation of shots and passes and the 1 on 1 game on the different positions in attack,an enormous development has taken place.
