Sterbik is considered to be one of the world’s best goalkeepers. His career started in former Yugoslavia, later he transferred to Veszprem (HUN). Since 2004, the goalkeeper, who is 2 metres tall, has been playing for BM Ciudad Real in Spain. He then acquired Spanish citizenship. The father of a family has played several international matches for his new home country by now and is considered as successor of David Barrufet in the Spanish goal.”.
