Kraus didn’t make his first public appearance on the handball stage, but on the catwalk, as the readers of the German youth magazine “BRAVO” elected him “Boy of the Year” in 2000. At the WCh 2007 in Germany, the back court player showed an outstanding performance and contributed to the victory of the host. Moreover Kraus was voted into the All-Star Team of the WCh.
