He started his career in the national team in summer 2005 – just in time to contribute to all great successes of the “Equipe Tricolore”. Abalo who is left-handed, fast and has an excellent jumping ability can either be wing or back court player. In France he was considered the best right back court player for many years whereas at the ECh 2010 he was elected best right wing player. Abalo celebrated great successes with his club Ciudad Real – the last one occurred at the Super Globe in Qatar.
