Youth World Champion with Denmark 2007

He’s only 22, but already a phenomenon, with a height of 2.11 metres. Markussen was spotted by scouts of international top clubs very early and signed a preliminary contract with Ciudad Real, so it’s already clear that Marcussen who currently serves Nordsjaelland Handball will play in Spain from summer 2011. His special characteristics: Despite his height he’s extremely agile and strong in defence.
