He’s considered as defence specialist, but he also shows his abilities during fast breaks. Nielsen, together with Lars Jörgensen, formed the backbone of the Danish defence at the European Championship 2008 when they won the title. He’s already 35 years old, but his physical strength allows him to continue playing on the highest international level.
