2003 World Champion, runner-up at 2005/09 WChs, runner-up at 2006/10 EChsn 

 

Valcic just missed the Athens Olympic Games. Apart from that the Croatian back-court won all medals with the Croatian team in recent years though. It seems that the right-hander’s sporting career has turned full circle. He started in Zagreb then moved to Großwallstadt in Germany, Spanish clubs Torrevieja and Leon to return to the Croatian capital.  .
