2nd place at WCh 2009, 2nd place at ECh 2008/10

Only nine fingers, but successful: Cupic is a good example for willpower. During the preparation for the Olympic Games in Beijing, the right wing player had an accident and lost two phalanges of his ring finger on the left shooting hand. Cupic failed to participate in the Olympic Games, but he worked out very hard and came back. At the WCh in his own country, Cupic showed a brilliant performance in the semi-final and at the ECh 2010, he was also one of the best scorers. His role models are also Croats: Irfan Smajlagic and Mirza Dzomba.
