Dear Handball Friends in Hungary and all over the world, The Hungarian Handball Federation will be the host of the V Men’s Youth World Championship. It will be the first ever IHF Youth World Championship with 24 participating nations – a huge step in the global development of handball in the younger age categories. More players from all over the world can compete on international level, more players, more countries will profit from the newly installed playing system. Hungary will see the best of the world – in a country with a successful handball tradition. Many world-class players are role models for the younger generations. Now Hungary will take the chance to leave an imprint on international handball not only from the sporting, but also from the organizational point of view. The hosting cities Erd & Budaörs are well prepared, and a whole country is looking forward to this event. Handball is one of the key & core sports in Hungary – and the Youth WCh will bring our sport forward.
