Serbia and Slovenia played enthusiastic on the last match day of the V Men's Youth WCh and the match developed to become a real derby, with some advantage for the young Slovenians, in the first half. Slovenia took the lead after 30 minutes by 18:16. This result woke up the ambitions of the Serbs. They forced the speed and from this moment on the match turned into the direction of the talents from Serbia. The Serbs played powerful and with a better defence than during the minutes before. So they reached a 29:23 leadership after 45 minutes. With this intermediate sprint Serbia opened the door to rank 8 in the tournament by winning by 39:31.
