Argentina and Brazil both won their third of three matches at the 2018 Women’s South and Central American Championship yesterday to confirm their places at the 2019 IHF Women’s World Championship in Japan next December and set up a final day clash - later today - to decide the winners of this championship.

The SESI Arena in Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil witnessed another dominant home nation display on match day four with Brazil beating Paraguay 40:17 (18:7) with Mariana Costa top-scoring on six goals. Argentina beat Chile 30:17 with Malena Cavo scoring five.
