Currently the 12th Asian Men’s Junior Championship is staged in Tehran, Iran. Seven teams are playing for the medals and the qualification of the Juniors World Championship 2011 in Greece.  Iran, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates meet in group A, Qatar, Korea, Japan and Syria play in group B. The semi finals are carried out on Friday 30 July, the Bronze final and the final will be on Sunday 1 August 2010. On the first two match days Iran beat United Arab Emirates 40:27, Qatar took the points against Japan (34:32) and reigning champion Korea didn’t have any problems in winning against Syria clearly 39:21.
