Hong Kong are the hosts of the IHF Trophy Asia - Zone IA (East and South-East Asia) tournament, which will feature six nations fielding both youth and junior teams at the Kowloon Park Sports Centre from Thursday 28 June until Monday 2 July.

 

Chinese Taipei (TPE), Democratic People's Republic of Korea (PRK), Mongolia (MGL), Vietnam (VIE), Macau (MAC) and hosts Hong Kong (HKG) will all be playing for regional honours in the tournament.

 

Both the youth and junior competitions will be played in a round-robin format with teams playing each other once. The team which finishes top in each age category will be crowned champions and qualify directly through to the IHF Trophy Asia - Continental Phase competition to be held later this year.
