The match schedule of
the 26th IHF Men’s Handball World Championship in Germany and Denmark (10-27
January 2019) becomes more detailed a few weeks before the draw in Copenhagen,
Denmark as the main round match days of the host countries have been confirmed.
In case of their
qualification for the main round both national teams will play their matches on
19, 21 and 23 January. The Germany national team
of head coach Christian Prokop play their main round in Cologne, Denmark with
their head coach Nikolaj Jacobsen in Herning. The throw-off times will be announced
a few weeks after the draw. The draw will take place on 25 June (12:30 CET) at
the Town Hall of Copenhagen.
Tickets for the event
are available online on www.handball19.com in cooperation with the experienced ticketing
partners CTS Eventim in Germany and Ticketmaster in Denmark.
The venues for Germany/Denmark are Herning, Copenhagen (Denmark – where
Sport Event Denmark is a partner), Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne and Munich
(Germany). The finals will take place in Herning’s Jyske Bank Boxen, where the preliminary
round, knock-out matches and finals of the 2015 IHF Women’s World Championship
were held. The semi-finals will be played in Hamburg’s Barclaycard Arena, which
already hosted the 2017 IHF Women’s World Championship finals.
