Today, 12 December, a delegation of the International Olympic Committee arrived for a working visit to the Headquarters of the International Handball Federation. The delegation of the IOC consisted of Mr. Cristophe Dubi, IOC Executive Director for the Olympic Games; Mr. Kit McConnell, IOC Sports Director and Mr. Pierre Fratter Bardy, Head of Summer Sports and IF Relations. They were welcomed in Basel by the President of the IHF, Dr. Hassan Moustafa, who presented to them all the projects and the activities of the International Handball Federation dedicated to the development of handball across all Continents. Among the other topics on the agenda, Dr. Moustafa discussed the Olympic Agenda 2020 with the guests from the IOC and informed them on the recent development of beach handball world wide.
