The President of the International Handball Federation, Dr Hassan Moustafa, was honoured to receive a letter of gratitude from the President of the International Fair Play Committee, Dr Jenő Kamuti. Dr Kamuti expressed his gratitude for Dr Moustafa’s speech at the opening ceremony of the 22nd IHF Women’s Handball World Championship. 

“I was in the lucky situation to listen to your speech at the opening ceremony of the Women's World Championship DEN 2015 on television.

“It was a pleasure to hear your words about fair play, as you called the attention of the athletes and the contributors to preserve the ideals of fair play.

“As the President of the International Fair Play Committee I would like to express my sincere gratitude for this act of yours, which is a great contribution to the noble mission of our Committee.”

Dr Moustafa and the International Handball Federation are honoured to accept Dr Kamuti’s words, and will continue to promote and uphold the values and mission of the International Fair Play Committee across all of our member federations, activities and championships. 

The IHF would like to congratulate all athletes, officials, volunteers and supporters for their personal contributions to encouraging the spirit of fair play throughout the 22nd IHF Women’s Handball World Championship, and wish the best of luck to all on the final day in Denmark.
