An IHF expert jury has selected the “best of the best” at the Women’s Junior World Championship. Right after the final Korea vs. Russia the All Star Team of the competition was announced and awarded by IHF officials. All three medalists  are represented by two players each in the All Star Team, which also includes each Hungarian and German player.

Korean playmaker Hyojin Lee was awarded Most Valuable Player of the World Championship and also became top scorer of the competition.


The All Star Team of the 2014 Women’s Junior World Championship:

Goalkeeper: Dinah Eckerle (GER)

Left wing: Julie Kjaer Larsen (DEN)

Pivot: Seonpil Won (KOR)

Right wing: Anna Vyakhireva (RUS)

Left back: Line Haugsted (DEN)

Centre back: Daria Dmitrieva (RUS)

Right back: Luca Szekerczes (HUN)

Top scorer: Hyojin Lee (KOR) - 64 goals

Most Valuable Player: Hyojin Lee (KOR)
