Overview:

 

Argentina automatically qualified for Russia 2015 after beating Chile 19:15 in the 2015 Pan American Championships in Venezuela. The team also beat Columbia 34:21; Ecuador 52:10; Venezuela 32:22; and lost to Brazil 20:30.

 

The team’s main objective for the 2015 IHF Youth World Championship is to gain experience for the U21 and advance to play for senior teams.

 

Key players for the team include Nicolas Bono, who has great athletic ability and high prospects for the future according to the Argentina Handball Federation. Guillermo Fischer is also one of the most valuable players on the team. Goalkeepers Marcus Krimer and Agustine Forlino are well regarded and have experience playing with senior teams in Argentina.
