After the 2016 EHF EURO in Poland and the African Men’s Championship in Egypt have come to an end, the field of participants for the 2016 Men’s Olympic Qualification  Tournaments, which will take place from 8-10 April, is now completed.

 

The IHF Executive Committee has nominated Poland, Sweden and Denmark as hosts of the 3 tournaments. All three countries have experience in organising major handball championships.

 

Tournament 1 will be held in Gdansk, Poland. The participants are the following:

The city of Malmö in Sweden will host the 2nd Olympic Qualification Tournament with the following teams taking part:

IRI

SWE*

 

The 3rd Olympic Qualification Tournament will be staged in Denmark. The teams below also compete for one of the last six spots at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
