As the throw-off for the InterContinental Phase of the IHF Trophy is approaching, the Nuevo Leon Unido Arena in Monterrey, Mexico is fully prepared to host the tournament that will determine the winner of the 2012/2013 competition cycle of the IHF Trophy.

 

10 teams, five in the men's and five in the women's competition, and all of them winners in their continents, will compete against each other to determine the champion of this prestigious IHF competition.

 

All the matches from the competition will be broadcasted live on the following website:

 

www.handballmexico.org

 

The tournament will start on Monday, 25 November, and the Governor of the State of Monterrey has announced his presence for the opening ceremony.

 

As previous practice, the International Handball Federation will organize a course for referees parallel to the tournament. Former IHF referee, now PRC lecturer, Mr Terje Anthonsen (NOR) will stage the course on behalf of the IHF.
