The Pink City with all its charm and traditional Indian hospitality welcomed the participants of the I IHF Inter Continental Challenge Trophy. With Benin under way and all other participants present in Jaipur already, the Challenge Trophy is ready to throw off today at 17:30 with host India facing the European representative Finland.

Prior to this match the Opening Ceremony of this prestigious tournament is scheduled at 16:30 local time. The Pink City is already excited about its guests from all over the world, and the organizer is expecting a full house in the Sawai Mang Singh Indoor Stadium (3,000 seats) for the first big presentation of India to the world handball family.

Simultaneously with the Inter Continental Challenge Trophy, Mr. Terje Anthonsen (NOR) started with the referee course. Besides working with the referees already nominated to this tournament, he will also have a special course for a group of Indian referees as a part of the commitment of the International Handball Federation to further develop handball on all world’s meridians.
