For the first time ever the team Es Sahel has won the African Club League title. The Tunisians defeated Algeria Oil GSP in the final in Casablanca 26:22 (12:13). The women’s final resulted in a clear win for Petro Atletico. The team from Angola beat Inter Club (Congo) 35:22 (15:12) in the final and celebrated their 15th victory in this continental competition.
Cameroon’s Armed Forces and Police team won the women’s bronze final against Union Nouasser 36:23, whereas JSES Skilda (Algeria) took the bronze medal in the men’s tournament, beating Rabita Casablanca – so both Moroccan clubs ranked fourth in the end.

Semifinals: Women: Petro Atletico – Nouasser 53:12, Inter Club – PAF 29:18
Men: Algeria Oil GSP – Casablanca 24:19, ES Sahel – JSES Skilda 37:28.
In total teams from 14 countries played at this tournament in Casablanca.
