The draw for the Men’s Junior World Championship will take place in Brazil tomorrow (21 May) at 10:30 local time. The draw event will be streamed live on the website of the Brazilian Handball Federation:  www.brasilhandebol.com.br

 

The Men’s Junior (U21) World Championship will be played between 20 July and 1 August in Brazil in the State of Minas Gerais. 24 national teams divided into 4 groups of 6 will compete against each other in order to win the Junior World Championship and dethrone reigning champions Sweden. The Arena Sabaizinho and Praia Clube Sport Hall in Uberlandia as well as the Centro Olimpico and Colegio Marista Diocesano will be the championship venues and hosts of the 24 national teams. This is the second time Brazil is hosting a junior event of the International Handball Federation, as they organized the Men’s Junior World Championship in 2003 as well. Players participating in this event must be born in 1994 or younger.
