Dear Handball Friends, The Olympic Games are the highlight of all major sports events. Sports fans from all over the world are looking forward to them and for every athlete it is a dream come true to be part of the Games. This year all eyes will be on Brazil, which has become a popular sports destination over the past few years and therefore there’s no doubt that they are well prepared to host such a major event. With their passion for sports, the Brazilian people have always provided an amazing atmosphere and for sure Rio 2016 will be no different. Twelve men’s and women’s teams each fight for the medals in the Olympic handball tournaments and the past year has shown that in today’s handball we have a whole list of favourites. Everything is possible and thrilling matches full of excitement are guaranteed. We wish everybody a good time ahead and look forward to an exciting competition in the spirit of fair play.
