This past weekend Sweden, Slovenia, Denmark, Croatia, Poland and Tunisia qualified for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games Men’s Handball Tournament.

They complete the line-up of 12 teams fighting it out for glory in Brazil in the men’s handball tournament to be held at the Future Arena from 5-21 August 2016.

The 12 teams qualified for the men’s tournament are:

France (IHF Men’s World Champions)
Poland (First at OQTI)
Sweden (First at OQTII)
Denmark (First at OQTIII)
Croatia (Second at OQTIII)
Slovenia (Second at OQTII)
Tunisia (Second at OQTI)
Brazil (Hosts/Organiser)
Germany (Best Continent at Qatar 2015)
Qatar (Second Best Continent at Qatar 2015)
Argentina (Third Best Continent at Qatar 2015)
Egypt (Fourth Best Continent at Qatar 2015)

The teams will now wait for the final draw for Rio 2016 to see which group they will be in.
