The host country of the San Diego 2019 ANOC World Beach Games (United States of America) is automatically qualified in both the men’s and women’s competitions.

The three medallists in both the men’s and women’s competition will qualify, alongside the teams ranked 4th and 5th.

The six continental champions from the 2019 continental championships will qualify.

In case a continental champion is already qualified to San Diego from Kazan, the slot will be awarded to the best not qualified team from the respective continental championships.

In case a continental confederation does not organise a continental championship the slot will be awarded to the best ranked not qualified team from Kazan 2018.
