The finals of the men’s and women’s World Games beach handball tournament have been fixed following the completion of the semi-finals.

WOMEN - Croatia versus Italy

The Croatians will be looking to avenge their Beach Euro defeat to Italy in the semi-finals.

“We can beat them,” said Tom Lukic, manager of the Croatia squad.

Italy may already have the upper hand in the title race.

The two sides met on the first day, the Croats failing once again to come to terms with the exceptional beach goalkeeper, Sabrina Porini, and losing on the shoot-out.

For Italy the chance to add only their second major handball title may be something they cannot miss.
